This pro-biotic formula provides a natural, non dairy source live product. Each capsule provides a minimum of 3 billion bacteria from 8 different strains guaranteed for a period of 1 year from date of manafacture. These "friendly" bacteria produce acetic, lactic and formic acids which may help maintain the favourite pH balance of the intestinal flora. Fruit sugars are also intended to provide a pre-biotic growth medium for the bacteria once in the digestive tract, encouraging their numbers to flourish.
